BLUE STEEL™ is one of the strongest co-polymer ropes in the market today. The turquoise color fiber with two dark blue tracers have become the industry standard for high performance utility ropes. It has low elongation and is 35-40% stronger than regular polypropylene. Manufactured from high tenacity polyolefin yarns, BLUE STEEL™ on reels offer easy handling, high strength and excellent abrasion resistance, excellent resistance to most common chemicals, rot and mildew. The rope floats, does not absorb water and has a specific gravity of .91, has excellent UV characteristics and is economical.
